About our Logo & Brand
When trying to decide a route to go for my photography logo & photography business, in general, I wanted one thing that really represented my journey, as well as, something that played a huge impact in my life. I wrote down many ideas, reflected many hours, & I just kept circling back to one thing: Hiking. Not only has hiking taught me many life lessons when it comes to chasing a dream and owning a business, but the impact and lessons it has taught me about myself & life is incomparable to anything else.
Hiking can be so relatable to life and owning a business in many ways, it teaches us that if we put our mind to it, plan, find guidance, & overcome obstacles, that we truly can climb summits and reach top of mountains that display some amazing views! It teaches us that as long as we put one foot in front of the other (regardless of how fast or slow) you will always continue to go places & will continue to move forwards. Hiking teaches us to slow down, enjoy and savor moments. To look at little detail that gets overlooked when in a hurry. We are taught that struggle is inevitable (especially when you want to go that extra mile and not just stay on the easy trail). As you make the climb, there will be bruises, bumps, wrong turns, mistakes, but the end result will ALWAYS be worth it. Even though it can feel uncomfortable, you have to leave your comfort zone in order to grow, reach your goals, and arrive at your destination. You learn that you have to trust yourself, push yourself to limits you didn't think you could reach, but also learning how to take care of yourself along the way. Hiking for me become such a HUGE part of my life, along with nature & finding peace within the outdoors. It makes me excited to be able to incorporate it into my photography business!

Hello! My name is Aleesa, owner of Aleesa Ann’s Photography. My love and passion for making art started when I was extremely young, but funny enough I never thought of it as a career until six years ago! I picked up my first camera while a junior in college and instantly fell in love! Even after completing a 4 year degree in the field of Child Psychology, I decided to take the jump into starting a business doing something I love and I never looked back! One of my favorite quotes come from Amelia Earhart, I find myself using this quote through all stages of my life:
“Everyone has oceans to fly, if they have the heart to do it. Is it reckless? Maybe. But what do dreams know of boundaries?”
I’ve learned at a young age how precious and fast this life can be taken from us and how sometimes all we have left of someone or someplace is through a simple photograph. I found myself throughout the years wanting to document every moment and all the people I cared about the most, hoping I could freeze time, and I thought why not share that with everyone else?
